In several if you kill certain NPCs early, they later respawn and sometimes if you kill some NPCs early the game will stall later because it has them scripted to attack a some later point, but since they are dead they can't and the mission will not progress (one of those rescue the pilot missions. A few of the maps/missions are excellent but many are just awful, ugly and buggy. The original Sniper Elite game is very very spotty. If your a fan of the series, you can't go wrong with V2 Remastered. Neudorf is based on a mission in Sniper Elite, but it is about a million times larger, more detailed and lifelike. The Landwehr Canal and The Neudorf Outpost DLC maps are my favorite maps for the entire series. It has some of the best level designs of the entire series. It has quite a few more enemy snipers hiding in most missions one must look out for. While it does have sound masking opportunities, they are much rarer than the later games. It is the hardest SE game to date, the missions are very demanding and challenging. V2 and V2 Remaster differ in graphics quality and a few minor tweaks here and there to a few of the maps/missions. V2 is a completely new game and different from the first Sniper Elite. There is no need to have played the first game. The second entry in the Sniper Elite series. V2 Remastered is a remake of Sniper Elite V2. It started with Sniper Elite, went on to Sniper Elite V2, the Sniper Elite III and IV followed by Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. If you are experiencing a severe frame rate drop when looking through the scope or binoculars when the game runs fine otherwise, try turning off "compute shaders" and/or supersampling.There appears to be some confusion in the peanut gallery regarding this series. The sniper must display ducking for cover and quickly emerging to take out a guard. Follow the on-screen directions up to laying a trip mine. Once the game decides you have operated the binoculars properly, the sniper is allowed to move.
Zoom in and out with them, check out the buildings etc. In addition, in the game prologue only the binoculars can be used (b key) at first. This can be fixed by disabling the anti-virus program running. This can be set to 'high', but restarting the game will reset this to 'low'. This appears to be caused by the game process being set to 'low'. Nvidia card users can fix this issue using a Refresh Rate Patcher which locks the frame rate for all games, and can easily be enabled/disabled. Issues can occur with the game's fixed refresh rate when using a monitor with a higher or lower refresh rate.

Disabling desktop composition in compatibility options or running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 appears to fix the issue. Some users report that after alt-tabbing from the game in Windows 7/8, refocusing the window and then clicking the mouse will defocus the window again, making the game unplayable after alt-tabbing. If you are running Raptr, try closing it before opening the game again. It can be caused by Alt+Tab'ing/minimizing the game, although some users have reported the use of the program Raptr as the cause. This issue revolves around the inability to use the mouse in the in-game menus as the pointer will not appear, and has been reported by several users. Sometimes the zoom controls will cause the scope zoom to zoom in and out continuously. Reportedly the game crashes after a kill in some instances.
#SNIPER ELITE V2 CO OP PATCH#
The developers are aware of this issue and the next patch will reportedly fix some of the problems, most notably the fact that connecting to a dedicated server means you are subsequently unable to connect to a P2P server. Some users have reported an inability to connect to some or all multiplayer servers.
